with Product Owner

Empowering Digital Champions: PGE Hosts "Digital Initiative Socialization" for Product Owners

On August 16, 2024, Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) held a “Digital Initiative Socialization” event, bringing together the Director of Operations, selected Product Owners from various functions, and the G-Bionic Project Team. The primary objective of this event was to introduce the responsibilities and scope of work expected from Product Owners, while also familiarizing them with PGE’s digital initiatives under the G-Bionic program.

Strengthening Ownership in Digital Transformation

During the session, the Director of Operations delivered strategic guidance, emphasizing the core objectives of digital transformation and the pivotal role of the G-Bionic project in achieving operational excellence.

The agenda featured several key components, including:

An overview of the G-Bionic program
A detailed explanation of the upcoming digital initiatives
A focused discussion on the critical role Product Owners play in project implementation

Product Owners were equipped with a deeper understanding of their responsibilities, particularly as frontline leaders who will help drive the execution and success of each digital initiative. Their role is vital in ensuring coordination, progress tracking, and alignment with business goals.

Mapping Roles for Clarity and Collaboration

To further support the Product Owners, the event also included a role-mapping session. This discussion provided practical guidance on how Product Owners fit within the broader organizational structure in relation to digital projects. It aimed to clarify collaboration channels, decision-making authority, and their contribution to the overall digital ecosystem at PGE.
